Strep Throat

Well, I got nothing done this weekend. My oldest decided it was time to come down with Strep Throat. He never complains, so when he said his throat hurt, off we went to the doctor on a Saturday afternoon. The doctor gave him a choice of a shot or pills for 10 days. Surprise, he chose the pills. Now he's complaining that they are too big and he doesn't want to take them anymore cause he feels better.

Besides him feeling bad, I started feeling bad. I got some sort of stomach bug. So I have not felt like even walking into my scrapbook room. I'm feeling better today, so I'm trying to get caught up on laundry and cleaning so I can spend some time in my room the rest of the week.

Even though I have been sitting on the couch not wanting to move, I have been working on the shirts I've been smocking for Laura. I hope to be able to post pics of those soon!! I've been working on those for a long time. Hope to have pics of something tomorrow.

I did this one yesterday. It is another class picture.

Recipe:
cardstock:Nutcracker/Pine and Marichino (Basic Grey's Fruitcake line)
Stamps: Baroque Motifs (Stampin Up!)
Ribbon: River Rock stitched
I'm planning on playing with my new Just Rite Stamper this afternoon. I want to make some personalized notecards for my daughter and me.

1st post

I'm trying to catch up on the stacks and stacks of stuff I'm behind on. I've got the kids home for the summer so I thought what better to do than get caught up on scrapping school awards. Start with small goals right?!

This first one is P when he was in the first grade obviously. I used bazzill cardstock (don't know which shade of red), and patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Color Me Silly collection

This one was done using bazzill cardstock and patterned paper from Basic Grey's Color Me Silly collection again.

The last one was done using (Surprise!!) Basic Grey's Color Me Silly collection. I also used some rub-ons out of my collection. I
have no idea who they're from. I tried to mimic the white around the class portraitby sanding the edges of his picture but you really can't tell it on this small picture. Well that's it for now. Until next time...
